Backyard/Yard/Courtyard = Lakou

Grass = Zèb (the grass itself) or Gazon (usually the landscaping)

Hose (hoses) = Kawotchou

Tree (trees) = Pyebwa

Leaf (leaves) = Fèy

Front porch = Galery or Galri

Fence = Baryè or Kloti

Fence in = Bare or Klotire

Bush (Bushes) = Raje (rakbwa)

Grill = Gri (top grill) and Recho (bottom where charcoal goes)

Grilled food = Manje griye or manje boukannen

Grilled meat = Vyann griye or vyann boukannen

Lawn chair (chairs) = Chèz or Kad

Doorbell = Sonnèt

Mail (the actual mail or package) = Kourye

Mail (to mail something) = Poste

Mailman or Mailwoman = Faktè

Mailbox (mailboxes) = Bwat postal

Rocks (rock)= Wòch

Swimming Pool (pool) = Pisin

Garden (gardens) = Jaden
